There was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.
Ezekiel 37:10
In this passage of scripture, Asa and God’s people benefited because of the renewal of their commitment to God. The Bible says that there was no more war until the 35th year of Asa’s reign.
Just as there are consequences to sin, there are blessings that come with obedience. Listed below are just a few examples of this noted in scripture.
Deuteronomy 6:24 – So the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our good always and for our survival, as it is today.
Ezekiel 18:21 – But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
