His Creations
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold it was good. Genesis 1:31a
This week we continue our focus on how God speaks to us. Today we turn our attention to the beauty of everything that He made.
So many things reflect the beauty of God’s creations. The Seven Wonders of the World declare his majesty, among them: Petra, Jordan; the Great Wall of China; and Machu Pichu, Peru. The seven natural wonders of the world do the same. Mount Everest, the Great Barrier Reef, Victoria Falls, the Harbour of Rio De Janeiro, and the Grand Canyon are among them.
God’s majesty is also declared in simple things – the risings and settings of the sun, a full moon, a drive through the mountains, a morning boat ride. His majesty is declared through butterflies in spring, through ants storing for winter, through our pets, through the birth of a baby with ten little fingers, ten little toes, two little eyes and one little nose.
All his creations – great and small. They speak to us!
PRAYER: Creator of all things in heaven and on earth: You made everything beautiful. Thank you for laying chambers on the waters, making the clouds your chariot, and making your messengers winds. The heavens declare your glory, and the sky shouts of your handiwork. Every creature great and small speaks to your splendor and your awesome power. I worship and adore you, Heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus, I praise you. Amen
