Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

John 8:12

It is a saving light. The Word of the Lord states that those who follow Christ will not walk in darkness but have the light of life. That is a powerful declaration. This light came into the world to save man from his sins. God has provided, and we have an opportunity to appropriate what God has given. We must choose to follow Christ, if we want to walk in the light.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you that this is a saving light. I make the choice to follow you in everything I do. Let me pursue you daily. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
